BIOGRAPHY

Greg Mably was born in Toronto, Canada and studied illustration & design at the Ontario College of Art (now OCAD University) graduating in 1991. His work is informed by a wide range of influences with mid-20th century design & pop art figuring largely among them. Using the computer as his medium of choice he has, from the beginning of his career, sought to integrate techniques usually reserved for printmaking, photography, collage & painting into a singular graphic approach. The purpose being to create imagery that is uniquely contemporary yet still connected to cultural history. His work has been used in a wide variety of applications including editorial and advertising illustration, corporate communications, animation as well as products such as toys, wrapping paper & greeting cards.
